Im guessing thats largely correct though plenty is still being questionably used to support the Ukes economy in ways difficult to account for.
Arguments like we dont have missiles to shoot down theirs incoming, they lose impact if the truth is there are none waiting to send and years to build meaningful quantities no matter how much is spent up front.
It is a disgrace that we apparently cant build what we need to fight a war thats not nuclear because we let our manufacturing capability for war materiel collapse as a “peace dividend”.
I don’t know if it’s true or not. But the spin is that American companies are getting the contracts. They don’t admit to $$$ being spent in Ukraine, as far as I’ve heard.
