No cash for clunkers?
So, they are NOT generally abandoned?
Maybe the Meritless Garland and the Fey Wray could target car theft in the Bay Area ‘Rat Urban Utopia?

Wow!
Wow!
Isn’t Oakland a City rather than a Town?
Tesla’s
I want one of those Portal axle kits.
Throw a blanket and a pillow in each one of them and then give some homeless wanker the address to his new ‘government housing.’ :0)
The problem isn’t the cars. The problem is the voters who elect district attorneys and judges who don’t lock up the serial car thieves.
Anybody with resources should get paid by Oakland to tow away all the gasoline cars. A couple of years from now, when they outlaw those gasoline cars, they will be worth a lot.
It’s a shame, a damn shame we are ruled by DemonRats. Damn shame.

I imagine a huge percentage are Kia and Hyundai
How far away is Rio Linda from Oakland? I remember Rush on his show was talking (had to be 15+ years ago) was talking about all the cars up on concrete blocks...
Does Ryan King (the writer of the piece) know that the “town” of Oakland has a population of over 400,000? A bit less than Miami, but more than Minneapolis.
What a dumb writer.
GIVE THEM TO THE ILLEGALS, THEY WILL DRIVE ROGUE..crash and run!!!!!!!!!!1
Hey, it’s Oak Town. At least they have an urban forest program.
Auction.
Are they checking to see if the “abondoned” cars were stolen before being left on the city’s streets????
Oakland could solve two problems with one solution. Arrange the abandoned vehicles on public space, and move homeless people into them. Let graffiti artists decorate them instead of vandalizing other property.
