The anonymous aspect of the internet has made the world nasty. Combined with ignorance, tribalism, and close mindedness, the discourse is horrifying.

The kid was a girl-female, and her father is in prison-has no parental rights-mother was not able to raise a kid, gave kid to grandma, who apparently wasn’t either. The girl was suffering from mental illness and was encouraged in her delusions by adults who should know better, but it appears that no one cared enough to get her into a psych facility/therapy before it was too late. Not all bad things are the fault of a father-negligence by other family members who don’t want to believe a kid is mentally ill is just as damaging-denial i not just a river in Egypt.

No! Children, young nor old people deserve to feel unreserved and unbridled freedom to be who they are. The Pedophile, rapist, murderer, thief, sexual deviant and molester have no right to expect freedom to be who they are. Allowing them freedom to be who they be is an abrogation of society's responsibility.
