Yes, but why stop at 32 hours, after all every Democrat knows businesses have unlimited funds and are greedy and evil, so how about 24 hours or better still pay them for zero hours? In fact businesses could quadruple their staffs and payroll and get nothing in return. This sounds like a leftist paradise. Or something that demented old Bernie and that execrable piece of post processed food Fauxcahantas Warren suggested add a tax on the businesses (and personal) assets too. Again the Democrat mantra of taxing the country into prosperity would drive the egalitarian state. Except some would be a lot more equal than others.

As with minimum wage increases, they stick with what they think they can get for now.

You will notice no labor unions are pushing this, though they were in the forefront of the 40 day week long ago.
