Ridiculous. Ukraine has been part of Russia for 300 years and NATO not pre-Nato Europe wasn’t ever drawn into war over it.
Imagine explaining to George Washington that we need to provoke a war with a region of the Russian Empire east of Kiev. Imagine his incredulity. Then explain to him the philosophy of the Ukrainian government, Bandera, and resurgent Nazism.
