I disagree with the received wisdom that someone else will take the no. 1 spot if Biden drops out. Rats will do anything for power, but I don’t see them actually deciding that acing out this “black” woman from the promotion to the No. 1 spot is politically feasible, including because she’s unlikely to go quietly. This article is an attempt to continue to jump start the narrative that she’s smart and capable. It’s kind of like trying to convince the folks in Weekend At Bernie’s that Bernie was an engaged and gregarious host.
