Biden Admin Backing Away From Aggressive Push For Electric Vehicles As Consumer Demand Remains Low
Daily Wire ^ | Feb 17, 2024 | By Ryan Saavedra

President Joe Biden is reportedly preparing to ease its push to force electric vehicles onto American consumers as consumer demand for the vehicles remains low, dealerships have expressed serious concerns, and automakers have had to cut production and revamp production of gas vehicles.

The New York Times reported that the move was a “concession to automakers and labor unions” from the administration as it was forcing “limits on tailpipe emissions” to force Americans to switch from gas-powered cars to more expensive electric vehicles — which often have performance issues in adverse weather conditions. The serious lack of charging stations, and the time it takes to recharge electric vehicles, are among other top complaints from consumers.

“Instead of essentially requiring automakers to rapidly ramp up sales of electric vehicles over the next few years, the administration would give car manufacturers more time, with a sharp increase in sales not required until after 2030,” the report said, noting that the change will likely be officially rolled out in the next few months.

Former President Donald Trump has slammed Biden’s “ridiculous all Electric Car Hoax,” saying that communists in the Biden administration were the ones who were behind Biden’s green agenda. “Within 3 years, all of these cars will be made in China,” Trump added

In a separate post, Trump said that Michigan would lose the auto industry if Biden’s “crazed concept of ‘all Electric Cars’ goes into effect.”

Trump said that if Biden’s mandate continues to that the auto industry in the U.S. will “cease to exist” with China taking over all manufacturing of electric vehicles.

“Vote for TRUMP, and I will stop this Madness, IMMEDIATELY!” he said. “Mexico & Canada LOVE Biden’s idiotic policy. SAVE MICHIGAN and the other Auto States. SAVE THE AMERICAN CONSUMER!!!”

Their next step will be to find a way to force consumers to purchase them....fines, jail time, etc.

The way FDR coerced people off the gold standard with exorbitant fines and threats of jail time for people who held on to gold

Only for the election cycle. If he gets re-elected, they will double the push.

Let me correct the title:

“Biden Admin Backing Away From Aggressive Push For Electric Vehicles As the November Election Draws Closer”

He’ll be back at FULL BLAST with it, if they manage to again steal the election.

Meanwhile, the Hussein/Biden Regime has decided to redirect some of the Globull EV printed $$$ to revitalize the horse shoe industry. There will be a new kind of child tax credit for every newborn horse. The Horse Shoe Industrial Complex will establish horse shoe centers in every State of the Union. Horse shoe recycling centers will be the next step forward to the grand future envisioned with all this horsepuckey.

That and saving face for Pete. Billions of dollars they’ve gotten and only have built 2 charging stations.

You can tell....US, Europe....enthusiasm for Ecars peaked in 2023 and has gone into a stall. Go ask about production of the cars around the US. It’s presently crap.

There will be a tax on Horse Manure! Also, horse shoes, bridles, bits, saddles and then carriages, wheels, reins, whips and OATS!

Ahhh, the smells of farmlands will come to our cities.

Back to the mid 19th Century?

I love it.

EV ownership is not in my future.

Yup...we're not stupid

Getting rid of gas stoves, gas lawn mowers...gas everything is stupid. Gas occurs in nature and can be eaqsily transported...electricity has to be made....and captured...

What hogwash in the opening sentence. NONE of those things matter to Joe & Crony, Inc.
President Joe Biden is reportedly preparing to ease its push to force electric vehicles onto American consumers as consumer demand for the vehicles remains low, dealerships have expressed serious concerns, and automakers have had to cut production and revamp production of gas vehicles.

ALL that matters is 2024 is an election year. Nothing else matters. He can't be seen as ramming his green wet dream down consumer throats in an election year.

Yeah, I’m sure it has nothing to do with the deteriorating support among the UAW, or the possible wildcat strike against Ford in Kentucky.

Trump wouldn’t have meddled in the auto industry in the first place.
