You see, Edward Markey has a security detail. It is certainly 3-people strong. It has a command structure. It is a security services group.

Disarming people is definitely a "technique capable of causing bodily injury or death".
So such a law should reasonably invalidate itself.
But of course the law makers are not reasonable.
We can no longer wait for our enemies to give us permission to defend ourselves.
