They said initially it was elective procedure. Getting surgery for cancer does not sound elective.

From what they said it was a biopsy procedure or something like that to remove the cancer since it was found early..I forgot the name of it, but I guess after wards it resulted in complications

I’ve wondered, what surgery is there when they just strap you down and start cutting without your consent? “Elective” means you could live without it I guess, but cancer - kind of a big risk.

At some point during the insanity the concept of "any surgery that we do not have to do RIGHT NOW is elective". So yeah, surgeries for cancer were deemed "elective" as were any number of other surgeries that most people would not consider elective.
