Police have charged a suspect with the murder of a Detroit synagogue leader and alleged she was killed by a stranger who broke into her home.
Samantha Woll, 40, was fatally stabbed at her Lafayette Park home on October 21 as she returned from a wedding.
Police believe she was attacked inside her home before stumbling outside. She was found at around 6.30am and pronounced dead at the scene.
Michael Jackson-Bolanos, 28, from Detroit was taken into custody on Sunday and charged with her murder and two other crimes.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy claimed there was not a 'shred of evidence' that she was killed as a result of antisemitism or any hate crime.
Woll was stabbed several times and left a trail of blood which led to her home. It was initially feared she was killed in a hate crime.
But authorities have dispelled these and say there is no evidence she was killed due to antisemitism.
'There are no facts to suggest this defendant knew Ms. Woll,' Worthy said.

And so, no story here. No tragedy. Just a mistake, committed by a young scholar about to turn his life around.
Well I suppose it is important to know that she was killed by the pervasive crime culture she helped foster as opposed to the culture of Jew hate that her fellow travelers help foster.
Woll served on campaigns for Dana Nessel, U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin and State Sen. Stephanie Chang.
Wonder if that, especially with regard to Nessel, had anything to do with Woll's murder...

Based upon the picture of the suspect, he will not be facing hate crime charges as blacks are incapable of hate.
Wait Michael Jackson killed Woll I’ll be damned..so Im supposed to believe this was some random attack even though she was stabbed IN her house early in the morning, without any signs of forced entry..so she let in a total stranger just to kill her..I doubt it, he knew her, or he knew she was jewish that is why she was killed but since the perp is black gotta cover it up and protect his ass
Not necessarily. She could have let him in because she was a social justice rabbi. She was trying to help a black man get on his feet and become a productive member of society.
And then some little thing set him off because of poor impulse control. It could be as simple as that.
She was a social justice warrior. He was her black pet. Then she got bit.
Add her to the list of all the other white or Jewish social justice warriors who were recently murdered by blacks or Latinos. The list is long.
Surprise, surprise, surprise. We are at war and only one side is doing the killing.

Whew! What a relief! Thank God it wasn’t a hate crime and was just a plain old everyday murder. Must be hugely comforting to her survivors and takes the sting out of it.
Certainly a comfort to the perpetrator's family. It's the difference between life in prison and community service.

While a small upscale neighborhood, it was still in downtown Detroit where all the derelicts and thugs still roam the streets at night.
Ignorance seems to be a growing plague on this site and you're suffering from it.. Obviously you didn't bother reading the article. So here, I'll post a sentence from it:
Jackson-Bolanos was also charged with breaking and entering without permission and lying to a peace officer.
Detroit Police Chief James White said the suspect was first identified by police a few weeks ago when he was being investigated for larcenies in the neighborhood where Woll lived.
She returned alone from a wedding in the wee hours. He may have been right on her heels (without her knowing) and shoved his way in before she was able to shut the door behind her. Or she may have fallen for some sort of BS. “Could I just use your phone to call my mom?”
He should repeat that in interviews. It certainly describes Biden.
