My bet is that the people behind the cabal we fall Deep State aren’t spring chickens...
And Jeb Bush is continuing proof, as if it were needed, that Deep State doesn’t hire the front office appearance types for brains.
Bush is half right. He’s part of the problem. But not because he’s 70.

Jeb should leave the political stage because he is a failure and fool, not because of his age.
This is just a transparent shill for his son George P. to move into the limelight. Too bad Jeb. We saw right through him here in Texas. There is no doubt they are going to try to push him onto the national stage. The “youth movement” will be their battle cry.

I might be agreeable to upper age limits for politicians, but only if we also raise the voting age significantly at the same time.

No kidding. It’s people like Biden who spend their entire adult lives in government who are the problem. To them, government is the be-all, end-all, totality of life. You “voters” are merely useful little bugs every few years to be squashed between elections. And the Dems have fixed that pesky “voter” problem good.

This was also in a time where the life expectancy was about 50 years and not having modern medicine or disease prevention or management.
