Good point. We know that many of the weapons bound for Ukraine immediately found their way onto the black market, either through diversion prior to reaching them, or via the corrupt Ukrainian regime selling them.
And a lot of AKs as well. Ukraine went from strict gun control to giving out AKs at the start of the war to anyone and everyone, so a lot of those ended up on the black market.
There was a previous surge from the Balkan Wars, so much so that the black market AK price in the EU is lower than the legal price in the USA.
