There is no zinger. Sovereign countries choose communism and the US didn’t respect their decision, but you criticize Russia for doing the same thing.

Near as I could tell the rebels in the 1930s had no clue what communism was -and if they did, they’d likely shoot them on the spot!
Fun fact: there were only two times that we “invaded” anybody south of us:
1. Mexico - when Pancho Villa raided a town in New Mexico and killed some civilians. And
2. Grenada - when the loony local government (ably assisted by their in- house Cubans) were keeping some of our medical students hostage.
If you are actually are Canadian, (More likely an agent of the FSB’s North America section) I’m sure that your government has long-stand plans to invade the US.
Makes sense to me -after all, we have the good beaches.
