For your weekly dose of comical news, the Thai based owner of Miss Universe, JKN Global Group, has filed for bankruptcy. This comes after accepting multiple transgender contestants for the 2023 pageant set for November 18.
True comedy if you ask me.
Transgender activist Anne Jakrajutatip, who's transgender as well, runs the pageant and is part of JKN Global Group who bought the organization for $20,000,000 in 2022.
JKN Global Group insisted it is trying to resolve a “liquidity problem” and filed for bankruptcy with the Thai Bankruptcy Court. The group’s petition for business rehabilitation is set for January 29.
Pretty hard to believe that men dressing up as women didn’t get real men excited to watch them...You can’t fix Stupid.
It’s a lot better than having them prosper. Eventually, they will run out of money (as this batch has), and their assets will be acquired by saner business leaders.

The Miss Universe pageant reaffirms that it's the opposite with these "get woke, go broke" situations.
The company was already in severe financial distress and the owners decided to "go woke" in an attempt to squeeze blood from a stone. Gillette, Target, the NFL, the NBA, Major League Baseball, Trans-heuser Busch, etc. were all losing money before desperately chasing woke Leftists sickness.

It’s been a dying business for a long time. No need for it anymore.
Most of the problems are from women who accept this. Nobody will fix it until women rise up to fight it. One or two won’t cut it.

It's a nice slogan and I wish it was more true. Sadly, the NFL, MLB, and NBA seem to be doing just fine. I haven't watched a game for several years so that observation is based on the headlines that I see. And Target is not yet out of business, nor is Bud Light.
