One of the reasons the Muslims are able to stir up such hatred of Israel is because to them it represents the West and European civilization and culture.
Western culture is Greco-Roman, Judeo Christian in origin, and for all its faults and failures, is the most successful cultural model. Islam kills everything it touches and produces nothing but countries that are impoverished (except for the fabulously wealthy leaders), violent and oppressive.
There’s a huge amount of jealousy in their rage against Israel, because Israel shows the success of non-Islamic Western culture.
Our minority grievance industry is greatly influenced by the Islamic model of civilizational hatred and in fact some of the groups, particularly black ones, are openly Muslim or Islamic influenced. I think this Islamic hatred of (and jealousy of) Greco-Roman, Judeo Christian civilization and world view is a major driving force behind the anti-Israel, anti-Western rage.
