Was anyone even charged with insurrection? Instead they were charged with seldom (never before?) used charges like being unauthorized on the Capitol grounds.
I would like to know how many of the people who simply walked between the velvet ropes had ever before even been in DC, much less in the magnificent Capitol rotunda. They were looking around amazed like any other tourists.
