What else is going on in Chicago in regards to the "reduction in crime", you might ask. Well, as the above article indicates, it appears students at DePaul University are being targeted. I've heard no reports of an actual reduction in crime so maybe taxpayers should send more money for more street social workers.
Rifle-wielding crew commits at least 5 robberies in 20 minutes on Saturday morning
But, at least the robbers are not being forced to suffer any harm and receive little to no repercussions for their actions.
Judge releases man accused of burglarizing Loop stores 6 times in 2 weeks
However, if you can just get your child to school, they will be safe during the day and hopefully learn SOMETHING:
Long-time Chicago teacher gets 10 years for sexually assaulting two girls.
Thankfully, cops at least have a presence at Wrigley Field so sports fans can safely attend games.
If you find success on your first try, then keep repeating what you were doing. Duplication and replication. That's the key to a successful business!
Hopefully, you will get this judge!
CTA pickpocket gets probation, one of the lightest sentences he’s received since 1985
Not our problem any more than when people are killed in Pakistaaaaan.
If only Chicago would elect progressives, then social justice would reign and this sort of thing wouldn’t happen.
Getting what they voted for, please Governor Abbott of Texas, send MORE! A LOT MORE!
The Chicongo Natives sure get restless on the weekends.
Gun free zone?
Thank you for your post and the information provided.
Democrat on democrat crime.
Mayor Johnson will blame all the victims across the city for leaving their homes and putting themselves in a position to be robbed.
Hoodie. Check. Gray pants. Check. Race. 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗
Sadly, this is spilling out to us in the burbs where we definitely didn’t vote for it.
And the state has taken away our ability to defend our homes with and carry our preferred weapons. California’s bans were chucked by the courts, and I hope IL follows suit, though I’ not optimistic. We have to wait for SCOTUS to rule on this one.
Yes but they are for literate people.
From insidehighered.com Jan.18, 2022.
“According to a 2021 Pew Research survey, roughly a quarter of American adults—including 38 percent of Hispanic adults, 25 percent of Black adults and 20 percent of white adults—say they haven’t read a book in whole or in part in the past year, whether in print or in electronic or audio form.”
Two stories: A woman I knew who was a nursing assistant in a large hospital said a woman asked her for someone else to help her find her time card, saying “I forgot my glasses.” Someone helped her (her job was in cleaning).
Every day.
I was in Kroger and a nice lady asked me to advise her on what the two different sale prices for the sizes of the same thing meant. Asked me if the numbers meant it was better or worse to take the one she was considering. I think it was buy one get one free versus a percentage off the other one.
I helped her.
Sad these people are coping at this vulnerable level. They need help.
Thas raasit ...check yo privlage ..
I wonder how my hotlanta team is doing this weekend ...
I bet we take the trophy this year ...surly we lead the league in something. .... drug trafficking has been hot this year I hear.
Sorry, forgot to include this one:
Nationwide, on average, 21% of adults in the US are illiterate in 2022.

Just doing my part to assist those who are thinking of moving to Chicago. People need to be aware of the employment opportunities available there.
Just three years ago, Chicago was touting its rankings in "best paying" in metro cities!
https://www.chicagobusiness.com/economy/chicago-among-top-10-best-paying-metro-areas
Apparently crime pays pretty dang well! It may be too late to get in at the ground floor, but it should be easy to work your way up even now, especially if you have a "higher education" such as a high school diploma. One earned by merit not given due to "equity".
Just think of the job opportunities in robberies of large businesses if you can read architectural floor plans, or even "exit" and "computer server" room signs. Someone with such advanced capabilities would be moved to the top of the gang hierarchy in no time. (Not to mention how valuable a person with the ability to clean, properly load, or determine the proper ammo for a stolen firearm).
The possibilities are endless.
In the land of the clueless, ignorant, and illiterate, the one-eyed man (or person who can read), is King!
I no longer have the smallest shred of sympathy for anyone living in the City of Chicago who becomes a victim of a violent crime.
They’ve been voting for these policies for decades.
Screw them all.

Those students probably think it’s their fault for being part of the white oppressor class. I wouldn’t be surprised if they refuse to press charges and ask to apologize to their attackers.
There hasn’t been a Republican in Chicago since Jesse Smollett made one up
I am with you. If they would give the muggers free medical marijuana they would not have to mug. And also free heroin, free crack, and free meth.
“There hasn’t been a Republican in Chicago since Jesse Smollett made one up”
And the left still believes that the practically white-hooded man actually appeared that cold, cold night and immediately recognized Smollet and attacked him. Luckily the attacker had his handy bottle of bleach in hand. The “This is MAGA country” was a nice touch. That you have to admit! It was almost as if right from a movie script and well-rehearsed.
