A Christian ministry claiming it was "debanked" by Bank of America filed a consumer complaint this week to Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti to determine whether their accounts were closed due to religious discrimination.
Indigenous Advanced Ministries – a Memphis, Tennessee-based nonprofit engaged in charitable efforts for orphaned children in Uganda through various partnerships – was warned without explanation by Bank of America in April that the organization was "operating in a business type we have chosen not to service at Bank of America" and would be closed within 30 days.
In May, Bank of America sent another letter stating its "risk profile no longer aligns with the bank's risk tolerance."
The ministry – which believes in pro-life values and that marriage is between one man and one woman on its website – has reportedly maintained two accounts with the bank since 2015.

BoA has been leftist for quite some time. Delete your accounts, folks and move to local credit unions.
BOA has been debanking businesses and organizations for years. There is no reason for Big Banks in America. It’s antithetical to pure competition and capitalism. If there is any question about that, then just read this article and see how customers are affected. The vast majority of large businesses, including all banks need to be busted as in trust busting. Oligopolies and monopolies need to be rare.

I received a text message today from a friend on the east coast and she said that a guy she knows bought some of the new Trump merch online with his debit card. Five to ten minutes later he received a notification that his bank account was suspended and the transaction was canceled by his bank. No reason given. First Financial is the bank.
States need to ban Bank of America from operating within their area. Also impose financial sanctions against BoA.
Debanking to to wrong think? Maybe the merchant was not legit.

If states don’t use their collective power against these banks, they will continue to do this.
Gonna say it now: there will be no election next year. The abuses are becoming so egregious that I don’t think they’re scared to just cancel them for some cockamamie reason.

That is how it should be, but this takes personal time and effort. So it will not happen.
Institutional discrimination
Amd somehow they will allow some House elections or bar GOP House members so the Dems can have supermajorities in both Houses and thus pack SCOTUS.
NOTHING prevents a Secretary of State from revoking their corporate charter and preventing them from doing business in their State.
Pretty obvious there.
First make sure your local credit union does not sell off mortgages or get them securitized. If they do they are no better than big banks.
I have been happy with my local credit union these last 35 years. No political shenanigans. No sleight of hand.
