I shan’t make a rassist comment.

And a disarmed society is a kinder, genteler, more polite society.

Of course having a gun to defend yourself will mean you may kill your intruder.
Good.

Measures that don't: stand-your-ground and concealed carry laws, which studies consistently show increase gun homicides Those studies can be found in a cow pasture.

Enforce existing lawHow about REPEAL existing "gun laws" and prosecute murderers, rapists, muggers, assailants, robbers ... and put them behind bars for a long time regardless of their skin color.

States which have enacted Constitutional Carry saw their homicide rates stay level or go DOWN.
But it’s the AP, so facts don’t matter,

“The research also supported police data showing most gun violence happened in a few “hot spots,” mostly in East Knoxville, leading to a plan initially focusing police and community outreach to a nine-block area there.”
Oh. Who would have thought that?

Wouldn’t it be nice to know how those “studies” were done. It’s not rocket science to know how to stack the outcomes, and if the politically correct conclusions aren’t arrived at, professorships are ended, tenure is denied and academic opportunities are lost. EVERYTHING IS POLITICAL as Marx told us. Along with the media, government, politicians and corporate America, academia has has sold its soul for a political narrative.

Meh. People killed by people defending themselves are ”homicides.” This clown is just playing with semantics.

According to an assessment by the Rand Corp., measures that work include laws that permit charging adults who let children have unsupervised access to guns, well-enforced background checks and policies that ban guns from people subject to domestic violence restraining orders. So the Rand Corp lies.
Good to know.

The fact that carry laws increases firearms homicides is only bad to those morally bankrupt people who can’t draw any distinction between criminal murders and lawful defensive shootings. As if there were zero difference, to them, between school shooters and their victims.
Needless to say, it isn’t easy to have productive discussions with such people.

Put young thugs in jail for using guns in crimes and make the guns a reason for an extended sentence. Then you solve your gun problem.
To: facedown
Concealed carry might not cut down on crime as a whole but it can sure cut down criminals one at a time.
To: Harmless Teddy Bear
The Rand Corporation is quintessentially Deep State. If one wants to turn to science, one shouldn’t ask political think tanks.
