Upon further investigation, it was determined that the rattlesnake in question was a highly endangered species, duragolox democratinus and the FDX driver was immiately assessed a $250,000 fine and sentenced to 200 hours of community zoo service.

Oddly enough tha PA Fish and Boat Commission requires a permit to kill a venomous snake, imposes a limit of one per year, and only allows taking Timber Rattlers as the other variety is endangered. PA has rules for everything… so much so that I consider it “The Land of No Fun At All”.
