There Is No Endgame To Continuing To Relitigate the 2020 Election. It’s a Dead End.

I think he’s in a lot of legal trouble, and I’ve been saying this...for a while and people, you know, attack that. But hey, I live in the real world and the real world is telling us that Donald Trump has a lot of legal problems. He’s probably going to get convicted in one or more of these cases. And people need to wake up and people need to understand what’s happening. And people also need to understand that, while he is not to blame for the hyperpartisan actions of the prosecutors, he left himself very vulnerable. He handed a lot of this stuff to them on a silver platter, and they are now exploiting it. It’s a bad situation.

And now he’s going to roll out, apparently Monday, a new report about Georgia election fraud. I mean, are you kidding me? It’s two and a half years later.

What is the endgame here? Trump supporters don’t seem to understand, what is your endgame? There is no process to decertify an election that took place two and a half years ago. The way you stop this growing totalitarianism is to win the next election, but everything they’re doing is set up to lose the next election. You’ve got to win the next election because Fani Willis and Alvin Bragg and Jack Smith are just the first of a wave of totalitarian attacks using the law enforcement and prosecutorial powers of the state that’s coming our way.

It’s a interesting phenomena that trolls and subversives always want to “give it up.”
The most damaging crime in American history should be given up and shrugged off because a few pukes don’t want to stand up for America.
It is indeed a shame that those that talk like this can’t be shipped off to Cuba to take the place of a few honest -but illegal - aliens that escaped from Cuba. Go and take their place quislings. The Cuban people haven’t recovered from just what the Democrat/communists are trying to do to us in almost 65 years.

Exactly. It’s hard to believe there are so many on this site who want to “just move on”. Incredible.

Know what’s funny?

You could argue that we’ve never had a Catholic President.

JFK didn’t win and everyone knew it. So calling him President was merely a grudging admission that Nixon was a lay down.

And this time it’s obvious to everyone: the guy not only didn’t win, the fraud was MASSIVE. So he’s not really President, but rather the Pretender.

Funny that.

You can only do that by winning elections. The party makeup in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Arizona are now much worse than a year ago. Florida, Georgia and others tightened up election laws and banned zuckrrbucks and other nonsense like drop boxes while in power. Statehouses and governors mansions have to be won in swing states to prevent more loosening of ballot rules.

This is utter nonsense. If there were no point the naysayers would shut up. The very idea that an entire political party wants us to believe the election was the most honest in our nation’s history is categorical proof it was not. Proving that remains vital for the sake of honesty and cleaning up corrupt systems.

And one of many ways they will get him is through the 18 co-defendants. Does anyone really think there is no way that one or more of them won’t throw Trump under the Bus by taking a Plea Bargain?

Jenna Ellis will flip on him, no doubt in my mind. After she had the gall to say something nice about DeSantis, Trump attacked her and cut her off from any legal defense funds. She has absolutely no motive to protect him and plenty to bury him.

Also, I would bet at least one of the "unindicted co-conspirators" is Lin Wood. His name is conspicuously absent from the list of defendants and he was a Democrat up until 2018. I think he is "unindicted" because he cut a deal with the DA to testify against Trump and the other defendants.

This person - whoever he is - just doesn’t get it.

President Trump is doing exactly the right thing for his defense by publicly doubling down on his claims of election fraud. Here’s why:

The crime he’s being accused of is knowingly making false claims of election fraud in order to 1) pressure lawmakers to overturn the election, and 2) to try and spark an insurrection. They are saying he knew Biden won fair and square, and that his claims of fraud were just an act - just a big lie.

To make this stick, they have to prove that he knew the election wasn’t stolen - that he was lying when he said there was fraud.

So, his entire defense will be built around proving that he was not lying - that he sincerely believed the election was stolen - which he did - because it was.

What better way to prove he truly believed the election was stolen, than to loudly double down now on his claims that it was stolen? That is exactly what he’s doing and why he’s doing it.

The more he talks about the 2020 election being stolen, the harder it will be for the prosecution to convince a jury that his claims of election fraud were lies.

“Trump is bringing his case to the court of public opinion.
That venue still matters.”

Finally, a good rationale for his actions...because nothing is going to change the 2020 results, regardless of what DJT reveals. As the OP mentioned, there is no mechanism (and probably insufficient sentiment among the general population) for undoing it.

The problem with that defense is that prosecutors do not need to necessarily prove that Trump knew he lost the election, only that he knew he was using possibly unlawful means to reach the end he believed was right. So if, for example, he signed (or had someone sign) a false document, or submitted a slate or electors he knew were invalid, even if he did it for just purpose, he may still be subject to conviction.

“ He doesn’t need to prove fraud. Only that he had a basis to believe it.”

You apparently believe if the state fails to prove its case that Trump will be let go and that he will somehow get the-elected.

You do not understand what has happened. Your country has been conquered.

Conviction and prison for Trump is a certainty. He will not get out of prison alive. And what he can prove or disprove in a People’s Court which is the revolutionary venue for this matter is irrelevant.

According to what you have said on this thread, there is no need to clean up elections because 2020 was clean and we should all just drop it. Try to make sense.

If this was RDS being cheated you would be bleating out a different tune.

You are all missing the point.

The article says the absolute truth - there is no pathway to undo Biden as the winner - not in the Constitution, not in Congress, not in the courts, it matters not what the truth is, it matters not who is right - Biden (or Harris) will be in the White House until noon on 1/20/25.
