President Biden on Tuesday said he and first lady Jill Biden would visit Hawaii though gave no timeline to do so amid criticism he has faced over his response to wildfires that have devastated the island of Maui.
“My wife Jill and I are going to travel to Hawaii as soon as we can. That’s what I’ve been talking to the governor about, I don’t want to get in the way. I’ve been to too many disaster areas,” Biden said at the top of remarks on the Inflation Reduction Act in Wisconsin.

These fools buried the lede. Slow Joe was told that there are beaches and oceans there, and he can sit his ass on said beaches, and stare at said oceans if he goes to Hawaii. It’ll be like 25% of his presidency in Delaware! The only delay is betting a secure supply of Depends and ice cream before he goes there.
He always atones for doing something stupid.
Biden said he will visit Hawaii ‘as soon as Hunter closes the deal on a few of the best properties that were burned out’ amid criticism to Maui wildfire response.
I’m sure Hunter will be there with him. Hunter will be looking to sign up some deals to build low income housing and some solar power.
Sad but true.

Here’s an idea, Mr. Resident. Go and, instead of getting in the way, do something constructive.
That’s good information so thank you and I’m not a local. However, I’m at the point now where I am always cynical about tragic events that coincide with media and political narratives that seems to drive an agenda. It’s now know that the huge fires in California that had the usuals going nuts on TV were started by an arsonist and there was almost no media coverage of that news.
