Not one person I know wants to go back to 1963. Not one.
We were making great strides in race relations by the 80’s, 90’s, and so forth. Somehow electing a black man to the presidency is where it all started going astray.
Obama was the one to begin to fundamentally transform our country, and it wasn’t from his half black African side, it was from his white Marxist mother’s side. Marxism is the problem here, and that’s what conservatives are upset about.
Donald Trump showed what a lie we all had in our government and the deep state. It was very Marxist.
We would like to get Marxism out of our government, and Mitch McConnell has been only too happy to let it grow.

In 1963, we had money based on silver and (sort of) on gold.
We did not have affirmative action; racist laws were largely limited to several States.
We did not have the Gun Control Act or the Hughes Amendment.
The welfare state was much smaller.
We did not have the EPA.
Rates of drug addiction, VD, divorce, out-of-wedlock birth, fatherlessness, and abortion were all significantly lower.
Sodomy was illegal in most states. "Gay marriage" was an absurdity. Genital mutilation of children was not merely illegal but unthinkable.
The US murder rate was at a historic low.
We did not have a "war on drugs".
Don't accept the bad guys' premises.
