Yes. To which I’d add, in the old days it was a level playing field. No longer. Now many states have laws that hamper management when it comes to dealing with a union.
And I say that as someone who is theoretically pro-union.
Unions were at their best when they protected the worker against crony capitalism’s impact on worker conditions/pay. Now the unions themselves are the cronies.
Unions have been obsolete for 50 years. They just didn’t know it.
