Clause 5 Qualifications:
[No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.]
As you see, the only time a Citizen could be president was at the time of the adoption of the Constitution until a first generation natural born Citizen was eligible. Martin Van Buren was the first natural born Citizen president.
Then neither was Obama.
Geez Here we go again. If Obama could be president so could Vivek.
He was born in Cinncinatti Ohio.
Don’t waste our time with this nonsense again.
He has no chance of winning so I wouldn’t worry about it too much
I believe that the courts will hold that anyone who was a US citizen at birth is a natural born citizen. You are entitled to disagree, but I think you will lose in court, if a court ever hears the case.
The natural born citizen requirement was ignored in the 2008 and 2012 elections.
Much as the 10th Amendment is often ignored as are the 4th amendment and first amendment protections.
And therefore neither the Vice President.
“Vivek Ramaswamy is not legally eligible to be President.”
Isn’t that something the courts should decide?
Oh......wait.
“ He is a Fourteenth Amendment/Wong Kim Ark citizen”
And he probably has yellow fringe on his flag, too.
All nonsense. There’s no such thing as “a Fourteenth Amendment/Wong Kim Ark citizen”.
what! was his mother born in Scotland?
All the details why Vivek Ramaswampy is not an Article 2 Section 1 natural born Citizen

Wrong. There are only three kinds of citizen status in the constitution. Naturalized, Natural Born, and Aliens.
If you gain citizenship by birth, you are Natural Born. It is not some parlor game of pre-colonial British common law.
You may not like it but it’s a fact.
That horse left the barn long ago.
Especially with 10,000+ aliens streaming across the Southern border on a daily basis.
Neither is Kamala or Nimratta Haley.
The ineligibility argument of Vivek Ramaswamy is based on the status of his parents at the time he was born. However, Clause 5 makes no mention of anyone’s parents. The word isn’t even there.
Therefore, I find the argument unconvincing.
Side note: I wish the word was there. Having parents (or a parent) with a possible allegiance to another country is not a good thing. But the word isn’t there. It just isn’t.
As soon as the words “natural born citizen” appear you know are dealing with a room temperature IQ swimming in a sea of wilful ignorance.
But why did this person not also state that Nikki Haley is also not a NBC, and thus us also in eligible to hold the office of President or Vice President? She was born before her parents had been naturalized.
But I want to see when Vivek was born and what the status of his parents were at the time of his birth. Because that is what counts, not the 14th amendment. But I assume it means he has the same issue as Nikki Haley, but he didn't state it completely.
The fact this phony is even considered an option at this point, shows how lost the country is. Even supposed Republicans responding to these polls.
ASSUMING the polls can be trusted, which I don’t.
