I think revenge is not great strategy. If it were, it should be tied directly to events.
The Iranians have been doing us much more harm than Russia, lately.
As geopolitical strategy, it makes more sense than as revenge.
But who wins the most here, with the Ukrainian war? It appears to me, China is the winner.
