“The election won’t be about Joe Biden’s bad record. It will be a referendum on Trump instead.”

Then Trum wins hands down.

It is bizarre how, when Trump mentions the biggest crime of the country’s history, the stolen election, the coup, DeSantis’s supporters try to make out that it is rude and crude and should not be mentioned. It is as if that is all they have as an excuse to back DeSantis.

Liberals and the MSM ransack the distant past highlighting the country’s supposed sins and proclaim them daily. Trump mentions the democrat crimes of a few months ago, and the extreme possibility they will happen next year, and he is, as it were, refusing to “move on.”

I will make a prediction. When DeSantis starts on the campaign trail, he will not gather much of a crowd. He did not in Iowa. I cannot predict how his supporters will rationalize that.

IMO, if Trump wins the nomination the general election will be 100% about Trump and not the complete mess Biden has created.

Here is what will likely happen.

The legal challenges Trump faces are all bogus, wrong and completely unfair, but they will still be major issues.

Trump is already facing 1 criminal indictment in NY and has a Civil Judgement against him in a rape case.

It’s very likely the Georgia Grand Jury will indict him later this summer and he will likely be indicted in Washington over his handling of classified documents.

All the cases are bogus.

Trump will go into the General Election facing 3 criminal indictments and a Civil Judgement in a rape case.

Ask yourself what the MSM and the Democrats will focus on, Trump’s legal problems or the disaster Biden created.

Then assume Trump wins the General Election, if he’s convicted of any crime in the 3 cases, how fast will Democrats and RINO Republicans move to impeach him, which this time could very well succeed.

Adulation does not directly translate to electability.

There must be a fight of major proportions. Trump will never fight. When he can’t deal, he loses.

The past is always the major thought of conservatives when that thought should and must about the future.

Going to a Trump rally requires planning and a real time commitment Afterwards the experience is an impactful lifelong memory.

I see and agree with your point, but he’s already started the campaign trail, hasn’t he?

From what some have said it was a big fat dud in Iowa. I was there.

If he had the kind of support that the DeSantis crowd seems to think he has, folks would be hanging down the doors.

Time will tell what people really think. Will his declaration for candidacy skyrocket him in the polls? We shall see.

There was an earlier article about Pres Trump attending the Georgia GOP convention. Kemp is not going. Odd.

But a company called Landmark Communication did a poll and Pres Trump was up 8pts on DeSantis. Landmark is a fraud conservative outlet that disguises democrats to get elected as republicans and DeSantis is still losing. Odd.

Yup. DeSantis and many of his supporters can't acknowledge the stolen election because then they have to admit that Trump won twice.
