Now we know why all the lying about how great Ukraine is doing is at full tilt lately.

Money as usual. Of course the US has an endless stream they print on a daily basis to burn on a foolish and lost cause for the fabulous Great Reset.

Must also be why Pee Wee Zelensky is making the rounds in Europe even trying to dip into that Satan’s money vault at the Vatican.

Huge missile attack last night in Kyiv
Ukraine claims all were intercepted but video shows some impact on the ground
Russia is claiming it hit a patriot system
In any event each missile costs 3 million , this video shows many launched and an impact at the end

Russia is claiming it hit a patriot system

Video shows 30? Patriot missiles were launched within two minutes, with two missiles falling on Kiev itself. The battery was destroyed, with a cost to the American taxpayers of nearly $1 billion dollars.

Here’s why I think aid to Ukraine will continue and why it has little to do with the Ukrainian war and everything to do with American politics and military readiness.

Much of the big-ticket items like Bradley’s were in long term storage and were heading for a long, and expensive demilitarization and scrap cycle. Those were handed over at the full purchase price even though they were effectively written off the books as pre-scrap. Giving them away saved maintenance costs, then demilitarization costs and only then would they have been sold as scrap at a fraction of their “giveaway” costs. You might say, well these could be updated to the most recent configuration, but why? They’ve already been replaced with newer units that will have the latest technology and a lower cost of ownership.

The ammunition we have given away was given at the last in first out mechanism, meaning it saved on any rebuild costs and contracts have been let to ramp up production to replace them already. (And, yes, artillery shells and bombs are regularly rebuilt to as-new specifications.) At some point all new American ammunition will be of recent manufacture saving long term storage, update and maintenance costs.

Lastly, the US and others have realized that we were only maintaining a fraction of the reserves of everything should a real war break out. Therefore, a huge investment has been made in long term contracts to ramp up and maintain production of everything we might need to expend in a conflict. Part of keeping this cost hidden will be to make some portion of that disappear under other costs, like foreign military aid which goes under a different budget item.

The military is thinking beyond the present conflict and is planning for the next one and keeping the Ukraine aid going, for its stimulatory effect is part of that long term strategy.

We will leave it without comment. We will not comment on Russian sources.

That opinion will change with the rout of Ukies in Bakhmut. It’s really bad.

Putting lipstick on this pig doesn’t change the fact that we have spent close to $200 billion so far on this war. We spend $1 billion a month funding the salaries and pensions of the Ukrainian government. And Zelensky estimates that close to a trillion dollars will be necessary to rebuild the country.

Ukraine cannot defeat Russia. We are prolonging the war with our stated objectives of removing Putin and weakening the Russian military. In the meantime the sanctions on Russia are backfiring and domestic opposition to the war is growing throughout Europe, which has not pulled its weight in supporting Ukraine.

There is ample evidence that the US is weakening itself militarily as it will take years to replenish our depleted war reserves.

The Hillary Clinton “Trump- Russia” hate hoax with the knowledge and encouragement of then President Obama, Vice President Biden, and the Democrat Party and corporate press has shaken our trust in our Government. The evil machinations of the FBI, CIA, DOJ, foreign intelligence agents is sickening. Worst still, nobody has faced consequences for their lies and sabotage.
Why should anybody support the Biden Administration’s Ukraine’s war against Russia. Why support corruption? We have ample proof our Government lies.
I for one do not support World War 3.

It's all a lie. The entire Russia! hate is a lie put forward by criminals within our government. I no longer believe anything they say. Our beloved nation is in the hands of thieves and warmongers.

“There is ample evidence that the US is weakening itself militarily as it will take years to replenish our depleted war reserves.”

There has obviously been a short-term drawdown in war readiness consumables*. I would argue that America will exit the war in a greatly expanded readiness state due to the fact that long term purchases have been approved and those will result in production efficiencies that can’t be achieved at the old subsistence rates purchased prior to the war. The General Dynamics powder plant some thirty miles from me has expanded hiring and I found a flyer in my mailbox trying to entice me to apply for job. I’ve never seen that hiring technique used before because they never needed it before.

* Some American ammo was fast-shipped, and the US replaced them on the fly by buying ammo from South Korea, which maintains a huge ongoing production and worldwide sales. (Why it was done that way I’d speculate is because the decision to ship US was made and then procurement was told to bring in replacements afterwards.) My guess is US readiness, if affected at all, was remedied in days or a month. Having been in the military/industrial complex for an entire career I can attest that military procurement is amazingly efficient at getting material. Cost is often not on the objective list if the item is needed now.

Yes, Russia has never lost a war like the First Chechen War, Afghanistan, etc. Okay

LOL. Biden wants a frozen conflict in Ukraine ASAP and back to Democrats partnering with Putin on removing Trump sanctions on Iran, the climate change hoax, etc. You’ll approve of their entire anti America agenda, naturally.

Premise: I don’t care much for either one of those criminal/oligarch infested countries. It’s like the nihilistic movie “The Wild Bunch” (Holden/Borgnine, et al); there are no good guys.

Here’s a tossup question for anyone who knows (or thinks they know) the lay of the land over there in E. Europe:

When all is said and done, who governs Ukraine? Who governs Russia? Is either country governable going forward?

Who assuages the vengeance on the minds of every last Ukrainian? Who gives consolation to all those Russian families who lost their flesh and blood relatives and friends to this madness?

What kind of life will be available to anyone living in either place?
