Mass shootings have dramatically increased starting with 2020. Hmmm, what was going on in 2020? I know, COVID, the Floyd rioting, and the 2020 election. During the 4 years of the Trump administration there was an average of 428 mass shootings per year, in the first two years of the Biden administration there have been an average of 668 per year, and over 200 so far in 2023. So, it looks like Biden is the Mass Shooting President, just as 0bama was the Islamic Terrorism president.

Although it is, of course, a bald-faced lie, coming as it does from Joe Biden’s mouth, let’s just suppose for a moment that it’s true. 200 mass shootings this year.
How many of those were in GFZs, where guns were already banned? This first one already excludes the recent mall shooting in TX, as Simon Properties are GFZs.
How many were committed by those with pre-existing felony convictions, e.g. gang members, career criminals, and especially those already “under the supervision of the authorities”, e.g. on parole?
How many were committed by known criminal gang members, even if they’ve never been convicted of any felony?
How many were committed by illegal aliens, and especially by those who have been previously deported?
How many were committed by otherwise prohibited persons?
How many of these “mass shootings” were lawful, defensive uses?
Finally, how many were committed in deep Blue cities or states, with extremely strict gun control, but not technically GFZs, e.g. in MD, CA, IL, NY, NJ, CT?
Once all of the above are removed, the remaining total, if any, are the ONLY ONES that can ethically be used to justify the restriction of gun rights of the law-abiding - except, of course, for the pesky Second Amendment.
My guess is that once the above shootings are eliminated, there would be so few left that the draconian limits would be clearly seen as what they are, a depraved effort to disarm the general public for reasons other than what are stated.
Furthermore, only the depraved would include shootings in the categories above and give them as a reason to disarm the law-abiding.

What about the mass shootin’ with an assault SUV in Brownsville? Are AAA members responsible for that or the banks that lent the loan? What about the “roadside service” lobby? How do they play into this?
