In 1969 I went off the BCT at Fort Knox. I was 19...first time away from home. I was scared silly...partially because of the Army and partially because of Vietnam (I was never ordered there). One thing we'd joke about was dropping the soap in the shower. But I never experienced anything like that (I guess I wasn't cute enough) or saw or heard about anything like that. My hunch is that that was because there were few,if any,guys like that back then.
Today my guess is that normal guys in The Big Guy's Armed Forces actually do have to worry about dropping the soap.

Perhaps the Navy should watch the old 1976 Mary Tyler Moore program MARY’S INCREDIBLE DREAM in which one sequence she gets lots of men to join the British Army. And she did not have a tranny in sight, But she....OH WOW!
