I don’t agree with the push against oil for shipping, but given how a small efficient safe nuclear power system powers much smaller naval vessels for weeks on end, non-stop, there should by now be economic reasons for ocean container shipping to go nuclear.

"Climate Change" is an all-purpose scare tactic used to justify programs which are invariably harmful to your best interests. It is useless to engage with people who cite this rationale for their proposals. They are planning to hurt you and want to distract you while they do it.
