Most male-to-female transgender cases are driven by autogynephilia, a man’s sense of being sexually aroused at the thought of himself as a woman, experts have argued, but trans activists are pushing back against the label and the stigma it’s associated with.
“Psychological disorders are not our fault, but when they are linked to sexuality, they can trigger negative emotions such as shame, guilt and fear. People don’t want that, so they deny the condition,” Debbie Hayton, who is transgender, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“Acknowledging the existence of autogynephilia … challenges the conceptualization of male-to-female trans as normal, ordinary women who happen to have been born in the wrong body … [It] is probably a harder sell to the general public than the fairytale version,” Dr. Ray Blanchard, who coined the term, told the DCNF.

Transgenderism is a mental illness that is sweeping the young generation. These people are really sick, folks. They need psychiatric treatment and many need to be institutionalized.
I have a working theory. Most trans or in reaity they are just cross-dressers, are trying to attract that very masculine ‘real man’ that you describe. They are competing for the same men that you think women are looking for.
The rise of cross dress is correlated to the decline in feminine women. Women are more and more lazy, more slovenly than ever, especially once they become married. No more make-up, don’t fix up their hair, wear sweat pants etc. Whereas the cross dresser is actively trying to appear as hyper feminine as possible, it’s basically Billy Beane moneyball, and it works to some extent because they are growing in number.

One of my friends has started using the term “transvestite” when referring to these people. It affirms that they’re just men dressed up like women, and doesn’t affirm anything about their gender being different from what they were assigned at birth.
I think we need to start using that term, “transvestite,” rather than *their* preferred term.
I still look in disbelief at how nearly everyone, but especially women, are willing to dress in public these days. It's like a zombie apocalypse in real life.

Laws have changed also. Any little misdemeanor, or more than one, can be listed as a felony. Anyone with a felony is blacklisted from shelters and other benefits.
