Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) defended his 2016 rival, former President Donald J. Trump, on Saturday, calling Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against him “very political.”
“Bragg’s predecessor didn’t take up the case. The Justice Department didn’t take up the case. Bragg first said he would not take up the case,” Bush tweeted.
“This is very political, not a matter of justice. In this case, let the jury be the voters,” he added.

Never thought that I’d see Jeb getting to the right of DeSantis...but here we have it - a defense of Trump WITHOUT bringing up Stormy Daniels.
The motives of a Bush are motives of bad intent.
Every one of these political insiders, regardless of what they say in public, are praying this stops Trump.
I have to wonder if Trump should claim Bragg’s action as some kind of donation to his political campaign. I would not put it past Bragg trying to prosecute him for not claiming it. From recent poll numbers it looks like Trump has benefitted tremendously because of Bragg’s folly.
Anyone with common sense and decency agrees.

Jeb’s a funny guy. Yes, he got this one right. I don’t think Jeb was ever meant to be in politics. He was born into a powerful, ambitious political family and did what the family expected of him. But his heart’s never been in it. Trump expressed it best when he said, during the 2016 primary campaign, “Jeb’s not happy”. That was an inciteful comment on Trump’s part. Jeb doesn’t enjoy politics and would have probably been happier doing something else with his life.

It’s hasn’t been a matter of ‘justice’ for some years now... I guess Jeb has figured out if they can do this to ump they can do it to him.... Which is true. And to the rest of us.
Show me the man - find a crime. When we get in power we’re going to do the same thing. And our folks can find much better crimes ‘cause democrats have been corrupt for years.

No one said that DeSantis wasn’t allowed to respond - but responding as he did with Trump’s indictment about to hit puts him TO THE LEFT of Jeb, at least regarding this issue...even if you wish it weren’t so.
I don’t trust tippy toes bush. His whole family are suspect.
They're all bracing to see Trump's primary polling skyrocket in the next couple of weeks.
Alvin Bragg effectively handed Trump the 2024 GOP nomination. And with it, he handed the Democrats control of the White House, House, and Senate.
The Africans are right. A fair justice system does NOT exist in this country. The FBI and DOJ are 100% weaponized by the Dung Beetle Party. Far-left turd rollers are above the law and can do anything they want whenever they want to.
Would not say to the right of DeSantis, just more mature.
