That’s racist.
In other Capitol news:
“The Georgia Early Literacy Act (House Bill 538), sponsored by Rep. Bethany Ballard, R-Warner Robins, a former teacher, aims to improve the quality of early reading instruction.”

“ATLANTA – The state Supreme Court heard arguments Tuesday in a case challenging a Georgia law banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. “
“ATLANTA – Georgia cities and counties must enforce local ordinances prohibiting homeless people from camping and sleeping in public arenas under legislation that has gained final passage in the General Assembly.”
I think strict spending limits on campaigns is a good idea. You can spend money on a website, on gasoline to travel to campaign stops, to print signs and flyers, and to produce online videos and publish a website blog with all your policy ideas.
No TV or radio or social media ads. No private fund PACs endorsing or slamming a candidate. Force the rules to focus on the candidate and the policies that candidate is campaigning on.
Volunteers are fine. Paid staffers should be limited to a handful of key positions like scheduling, production of videos, writing of blog posts, and a bus driver.
Makes sense to me. There should be no outside state money used in any election ever. Anyone accepting it and donating it should be charged with election fraud or tampering.
Death penalty just for the hell of it.
