So far, I am waiting to see what is great about DeSantis on the national stage. I do not see it. He is basically a one term Governor and has only held one paid job in the private sector. His latest accomplishments in Florida sound good, but getting those things done on the national stage is quite another thing. Are these things that sound good just setting up a resume to please social conservatives who are afraid of Trump now so he can run for POTUS backed by the GOPe to get rid of MAGA?
I am not so certain yet that they are not. Repeating words of McCain was a real setback on him for me. He sounded like a freaking parrot. Did his youth allow him to repeat those words piped to him from a GOPe handler and he just didn’t know better?
“Politically Destroy”, this is a perfect example of the “Feminization of Politics”, Campaigns are nasty business, always have been. This is nothing.

My connection on the phone was spotty, hence the multiple posting. I tried to post one other time when Trump’s plane was circling over us before landing and it just wouldn’t post. Plus, the sun was so bright, I could barely see the screen.
That was a great day. The two best things were Trump’s speech and being around all of those like-minded people. So uplifting.
The advice posted here was great. We had all eaten heartily beforehand and were glad because the lines at the food trucks were very long and moving slowly. The only problem was that they didn’t let us bring bottled water in, so at first, standing in those long lines was the only way to get water. I had sucked down a 20 oz. bottle in the security line, so I opted not to stand in line.
However, it was a warm, sunny day, and kudos to the event planners for figuring it out. Pallets of bottled water appeared and it was passed out to the crowd - enough for everybody who wanted it, myself included.
Other than that and the fact that PDJT was about 45 minutes late, it went off without a hitch. I am so glad I attended.
Don't drink THAT much!
