President Donald Trump teased the first rally of his 2024 presidential campaign bid this week on Truth Social, previewing the excitement ahead for those traveling to Waco, Texas, on Saturday to catch a glimpse of “your favorite President.”
“GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOTS from all over our beautiful U.S.A are already traveling to WACO, TEXAS for this Saturday’s TRUMP RALLY, featuring your favorite President, ME!” Trump wrote. “See you there!”
The president also previewed the presence of artist Vanessa Horabuena, known for painting portraits that she describes as a blend of “beauty of art and worship.”
He shared, “Vanessa will be with us in Texas on Saturday, on stage before I speak. She is amazing! Maybe we will auction off her painting? Rally will be BIG!”
Trump’s rally marks the first of his trademark rallies for 2023 and his 2024 presidential campaign. The rally will be held amid the chaos surrounding the president’s potential indictment and arraignment by the Manhattan district attorney’s office over old allegations related to the “many times debunked” Stormy Daniels case in 2016.
Trump slammed the case on Thursday, ripping Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his refusal to “drop” the investigation:
“WHY WON’T BRAGG DROP THIS CASE? EVERYBODY SAYS THERE IS NO CRIME HERE. I DID NOTHING WRONG! IT WAS ALL MADE UP BY A CONVICTED NUT JOB WITH ZERO CREDIBILITY, WHO HAS BEEN DISPUTED BY HIGHLY RESPECTED PROFESSIONALS AT EVERY TURN. BRAGG REFUSES TO STOP DESPITE OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY. HE IS A SOROS BACKED ANIMAL WHO JUST DOESN’T CARE ABOUT RIGHT OR WRONG NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE HURT. THIS IS NO LEGAL SYSTEM, THIS IS THE GESTAPO, THIS IS RUSSIA AND CHINA, BUT WORSE. DISGRACEFUL!”
As reported by RSBN, Trump’s upcoming rally is projected to bring in whopping crowds, with the Waco Tribune-Herald sharing that local Republican leaders have been advised to expect up to 10,000 people at the Waco Regional Airport, where the event is being held.
