I believe witnesses can talk AFTER their testimony.

I think Costello really stuck it to them. But even he implied that the jurors just didn't want to hear it.

Meanwhile, the Biden family corruption story, which was gaining steam, goes away because all of the talking heads are talking about this story.

Just because a DA got a jury to do an illegal act doesn’t the jury is free from criminal prosecution.

“... Bragg and his team “are having trouble convincing the jury to swallow the case,””

I guess its more of a cheese sandwich than a ham and cheese sandwich.

this needs a Henry Fonda. Wait what is the crime we are investigating? Not who but what? Who was injured on a grand scale? to require such a “grand” jury?

What happened to Trump’s tax returns? Another big nothing burger.

And they want that stuff to go down the memory hole. Because when turnabout comes they can then scream about how tax returns should never be revealed and it is outrageous and unprecedented for the Republicans to ask to see other politicians tax returns.

Don’t bank on it. We’ve been down this road before numerous times. Does Mike Flynn ring a bell? Or the J6 folk still rotten in jail? I We were so sure that case was dead on the water only to have the damn judge revive it and give it life. It’s a one-way street… convict conservatives all the while rat evil criminal officials run unopposed by the law! I take nothing for granted, and my skepticism is through the roof. Don’t believe rumors. …Period!

Condensed version of this June 2022 article. I suggest everyone read it:

Prosecutors in charge of Manhattan district attorney’s criminal investigation into Trump suddenly resigned

NEW YORK — The two prosecutors in charge of the Manhattan district attorney’s criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump and his business dealings suddenly resigned Wednesday, throwing the future of the probe into question just as pressure was building on Trump on several legal fronts.

A spokesperson for District Attorney Alvin Bragg confirmed the resignations of Carey Dunne and Mark Pomerantz, top deputies who had been tasked with running the investigation on a day-to-day basis.

Both started on the Trump probe under former District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., and Bragg asked them to stay when he took office in January.

The New York Times, citing sources, reported that the grand jury investigation had stalled, with no sessions in the last month, and that Dunne and Pomerantz quit after Bragg raised doubts about pursuing a case against Trump himself.

In a telephone interview, his lawyer Robert Fischetti said: “I’m a very happy man. In my opinion, this investigation is over.”

Fischetti said Bragg has not spoken to him about the status of the investigation or potential charges against Trump but, given Thursday’s developments, the lawyer said it appeared that the D.A. had reviewed the case and signaled to his deputies he was not inclined to pursue an indictment.

“My client has done nothing wrong,” Fischetti said.
