Biden Judicial Nominee Thinks a Brady Motion - a Key Issue in J6 Prosecutions - Has to Do With 'Second Amendment
Red State ^ | 3/22/23 | Jennifer Van Laar

Judge Kato Crews, nominee for US District Court for the District of Colorado, appeared on Capitol Hill Wednesday as part of his confirmation hearings and became the latest nominee who was unable to answer a basic legal question by Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA).

Crews, who currently serves as a federal magistrate in Colorado, was unable to describe what the landmark US Supreme Court case Brady v. Maryland was about. Brady, decided in 1963, “held that withholding exculpatory evidence violates due process ‘where the evidence is material either to guilt or to punishment.'” Seems like a pretty important case (and principle) to be crystal clear about.

This judge has not only graduated from law school, but also spent a few years on the bench (a very few), all without knowing the definition of a Brady motion. Most law students learn about Brady v Maryland in the first year of law school. Now he is being nominated for a higher court? This is why all our institutions are failing. Knowledge, experience, intelligence, and competence, are no longer considered in hiring or judicial appointment decisions.

You have to watch the video to see the total lack of knowledge exhibited in his facial expressions. When he heard the word "Brady" he made the best guess possible and assumed it was in regards to the 2nd Amendment.

He needs to return to Gotham City and confer with the Green Hornet to get his facts straight...

“What? He doesn’t know about Brady vs. Maryland?”

Correct. Most informed legal and political watchers, even those who do not work in the field, know about Brady and its effects on prosecutions. How could someone who went through three years in law school and spent four years on the bench not at least know the basics of the law? That’s almost too incredulous to believe! And he wants to be confirmed to a higher court as well? Who vetted him for this nomination? Given the number of times the issues on Brady have been in the news over the past few weeks, you would think they would have made sure he had a passing knowledge of the court opinion.

Didn’t need to see a picture. He and Hank Johnson graduated from the same online school in the Caribbean.

I wish this John Kennedy was on our Supreme Court. At least he knows the general structure of American Law.
Plus he is articulate but concise.

My son in law is from Turkey and he watches a lot of TV shoes from there. I noticed that they don’t have any blacks...not in commercials...not as debaters or presenters.

It’s pretty amazing to see how our media & advertises have pumped the blacks way out of proportion to their actual % of the population.

Sen. Kennedy is more qualified for SCOTUS than any of the lib idiots (including Roberts) now occupying four of its seats.
