Russia looks to me like they will be stuck in Ukraine for years. They had one one window last year for a win and they did not have the military capability to outfight Ukraine.

This is the reality.

They might have the means by drafting everyone and and arming them soviet style, I don’t know if that will work. But that country is finished as a major military power for many years.

Unless they have another country step in, like China.

Its amusing how people complain about sources of stories, as if there is a choice. There are less than a dozen primary news outlets anymore. Going to the source - bad. Going to a blog post about a twitter post about the same story - good.

Analyzing, synthesizing, thinking it through and figuring it out on your own - not allowed. Reacting to headlines and confirming confirmation bias - required.

What this shows is what is really going on inside the Russian economy and society. If the Russian economy was weathering sanctions, then they would pay their soldiers fighting and dying for the Motherland.

The more news like this comes to light, the more it shows the Russian economy is slowly burning out. In another year or two, the Russian economy will no be able to sustain the war.
