“Bragg withheld 600 pages of exculpatory evidence. They should arrest him for misconduct.”

I will explain this one more time for those of you who allow emotion to interfere with reason and the well- established rule of law: The prosecutor is not required to present exculpatory evidence to the grand jury. Also, the prosecution is not required to provide exculpatory evidence to the defendant prior to indictment, arraignment, and plea.

The lawyer is repeating statements which Cohen later stated were lies. You can believe Cohen or not as you choose, but the letter doesn’t clear Trump.

it doesnt indict Trump either, was cohen lying then or later ?

A grand jury is not usually shown exculpatory evidence by the DA. That doesn’t occur till pre trial requests come from defense. The Brady Rule.

The Highly Confidential communication provides solid evidence that DJT will not be arrested yesterday.

Read the letter carefully. He says he used his money to “facilitate” the deal.

He also said he wasn’t reimbursed by the Trump Org. or the campaign.

He never says DJT didn’t reimburse him and Trump himself has said that he did.

Naw, just arrest him ‘cause we don’t like him. That is what they have tried to do to Trump for 7 years.

A WRITTEN Statement to the Feds is contrary to his GJ testimony.

January: Cohen seeks reimbursement from the Trump Organization for $180,035 — $130,000 for the payment to Daniels, plus a wiring fee and an extra $50,000. Trump Organization executives double the reimbursement to $360,000 and add another $60,000, for a total of $420,000 to be paid in monthly installments for 12 months.

Cohen sends invoices for $35,000 per month and receives $420,000 from the company over the course of the year.

“He has no obligation to show the letter to the grand jury.”

It appears he had no legal obligation to do so although his decision to pursue an indictment when possessing this as well as other “exculpatory” documentation makes his ethical misfeasance prodigious.

Did you foresee that Sessions was going to recuse himself? I didn’t. Rosenstein and company pulled a professional con job on Sessions, who pretty much walked in from the Alabama cotton fields and “respected” Rosenstein too much.

After one look at “Fat Albert”, both the bus and the wall would probably disagree with ya....LOL.

He’s already been convicted of fraud and perjury, killing any credibility at all to begin with. A second perjury conviction should get him the 2024 presidential nomination.

A lot of Republican’s are mis-interpreting the letter. Cohen did not pay $135k of his own money out of the goodness of his heart; he did it because he expected (and was) reimbursed by Trump. The letter can absolutely be used to prove that Cohen perjured himself, but it doesn’t exonerate Trump.

Where is the proof that President Trump reimbursed Cohen?

The affair itself also baffles me...Trump meets stormy on the golf course and proceeds to have a one time one hour consentual thing with her? It makes no sense. A washed up porn star? Kind of fantastical.

The Affair never happened. It's fiction
Stormy Daniels via the Denver Post (2018)

“The fact of the matter is that each party to this alleged affair denied its existence in 2006, 2011, 2016, 2017 and now again in 2018,” the signed statement reads. “I am not denying this affair because I was paid ‘hush money’ as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. I am denying it because it never happened.”

That’s for a jury to decide.

its not a crime....because it happened BEFORE the 2016 election, the left still think..”well, if this had come out, Hillary would have won”..man, they will never get over that election, the main “sin” was that it wiped the Obama “legacy” out...Trump has over shadowed Obama so badly....
