As has been noted, only half the population has this problem. Liberals enjoy free speech, even when they exercise it with violence. They are like the Nazis/Germans who beat Jews in the streets. There are no repercussions for them.
The only demographic in the USA that is denied 1st Amendment rights are conservatives. And conservatives have demonstrated that Constitutional rights really aren't important enough for us to get out and fight.
We even permit our elected reps to hide in their DC closets during the chaos.
