$151.5 Billion in uninsured deposits - 85% of all deposits not insured by FDIC. Why??? Only the first $250,000 is FDIC insured.
If you have $10,000,000 in the bank (which is idiocy), only $250,000 of it is guaranteed.

If you have 500 employees, and you have to issue payroll checks, you are likely to need a lot of money in your account.

Only the first $250,000 is FDIC insured. I think it's been $250k all of my life... and, I'm OLD! With inflation, it should probably be at least $2-3M now. That would protect most small businesses.
