Former President Donald Trump's campaign is examining ways to win over the mail-in vote after the Democrats' performance in the 2020 presidential and 2022 midterm elections. The Wall Street Journal reports that Trump's staff is examining state laws on absentee and mail-in voting, as well as ballot harvesting techniques.
Trump, who was famously critical of mail-in votes following the 2020 election, is changing his tune following comments by some GOP 2024 presidential hopefuls, like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who have criticized the party for not capitalizing on opportunities in recent elections by focusing too much on Election Day turnout.
The change of heart can be observed in a Trump fundraising email released earlier this week which read, "The radical Democrats have used ballot harvesting to cancel out YOUR vote and walk away with elections that they NEVER should have won. But I’m doing something HUGE to fight back.”
He continued: “Our path forward is to MASTER the Democrats’ own game of harvesting ballots in every state we can. But that also means we need to start laying the foundation for victory RIGHT NOW.”
Trump told Breitbart News in December that the GOP has to "live with the system that stinks" but maintained that "a mail-in ballot will always be corrupt," and that Republicans need to look for ways to make elections more secure.
Other Republicans have noted that the GOP simply needs to use whatever tools available to win over voters and that the Republican National Committee is looking into the issue following the midterms last November.
Roughly 60 percent of Democrats voted by mail in 2020 compared to 30 percent of Republicans.

This approach won’t work unless our side is also willing to manufacture mail-in ballots. We probably aren’t even losing the legitimate mail-in ballot war currently.
This is why we will continue to lose. On the whole, we have higher ethics and stronger morals than the left.

Thank God. I work the polls at our local precinct. I was there on the ground for the disaster of a midterm. I saw all sorts of GOP neighbors names on the list who should have voted but didn’t. I also saw a bunch of Democrat names who didn’t vote at the polls; they had already voted via mail. A GOP voter needs to take an hour, maybe more, out of their day to vote. A Dem voter is done in 15 minutes. These guys have been laughing at us. It’s time to wise up and beat them at their own game.

The people running the RNC are Trump picks....Ronna McDaniel. It was Trump that held this up and came late to the party.

Ballots counted (not votes) will exceed number of registered voters in every state. Trump wins 421M votes to Biden’s 398M.
The Arizona election theft in 2022 was right there for everyone to see. And nothing was done about it. When the republicans try the rat tactics guess who will get arrested and thrown in jail? Hint, it won’t be the rats.

GOP must beat them at their own game! Encourage illegal voters with adds in Spanish—promises them anything. We must embrace the cheaters tactics for the Democrats will never lose another election.

Trump should be moving on Voter ID, zero mail in ballots unless verified as out of the country or ill, jail time felonies for vote fraud instead of copying the left. DeSantis voting fraud police is another good idea.

Agreed. As soon as I read it my first thought was the same. This might be Trump forcing a discussion on ballot harvesting more than Trump actually planning on using it.
