I don’t get it. Is this because DeSantis had the attorney suing him on a panel discussing limiting the NY Times v. Sullivan decision giving the media the ability to lie and slander with barely any constraint?

I’m iffy on DeSantis for a few reasons, but his actions on vote fraud are not one of them.

He doesn’t look like them or talk like them. But he’s one of them, and will represent them.

Governor DeSantis has a job: Governing the State of Florida. As a result, he gets both positive and negative attention in the media and elsewhere for doing his job.
Donald Trump doesn't seem to have a job. He's not president. He's not hosting a reality TV show, he's not running "Trump Inc", he's not even amusing himself and us with the WWE. The only way he gets attention is if he manufactures it. He doesn't seem able to handle that situation like an adult. It's sad, really. For the most part, he was a good President when he held that office.
