Representative James Clyburn (D-SC) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “José Díaz-Balart Reports” that the Democrats changed their presidential primary schedule because New Hampshire and Iowa do not “reflect the electorate of the United States of America.”
Díaz-Balart asked, “Congressman, the speech comes days after the Democratic National Committee voted to make South Carolina the first primary state in 2024. What does this mean for South Carolina? What is the message that the Democratic Party is sending?
Clyburn said, “Well, I think the message the Democratic Party is sending is very simple, that we have a very diverse country, a very diverse party, and all of that should be honored. I don’t have anything against New Hampshire or Iowa, but I don’t know that anybody in this country can legitimately argue that those two states reflect the electorate of the United States of America.”

Whadda dumbazz.....
FJB and his fairy band of vile flying monkeys.
“The South Carolina Democrat electorate is majority black.
Does that somehow reflect America; this electorate is somehow representative of America overall?”
You would think so watching television commercials.
Should we tell him that treating IA and NH like dirt isn’t going to help the Democrat cause? Let’s not tell him because Lord knows, he’s too dumb to figure it out himself.
Rs aren’t obligated to change dates to accommodate Ds. Most won’t.
NH’s laws state they must hold the first primary election in US, so they could move. Cauci in Iowa don’t count as a primary election.
BTW, Clyburn implies Iowa and NH elect primary winners and thus don’t represent US voters properly. They do not.
They do however represent their corner of the US, just as South Carolina represents only its corner. You got luckly in ‘20 as SC came later and in effect put Biden over the finish line. As first in nation, that won’t hold, but please ...have at it.
Don’t ‘Reflect the Electorate of the United States of America’
Homicide Rate, per 100,000
NH: 0.9
SC: 10.5
Australia: 0.9
United Kingdom: 1.1
Seychelles: 10.1
As I mentioned in a later post, leading off the D primary season does not ensure the winner of the nomination. If anything, it probably diminishes it’s importance.
Good thinkin’. James.
“I don’t have anything against New Hampshire or Iowa, but I don’t know that anybody in this country can legitimately argue that those two states reflect the electorate of the United States of America.”
Who does marble head..New York and New Jersey?
And a bunch of folks from South Carolina do?
If he said, “Ain’t no brothas in Iowa”…I would accept that.
Let the blacks pick their nominee. Who cares?
” . . .What is the message that the Democratic Party is sending?”
Always wondered how many of Biden’s corrupt revenue streams were directed into Clyburn’s coffers after he helped Biden secure the South Carolina primary on 2020.
And, somehow South Carolina does? Beyond Clyburn, let us not forget South Carolina continues to send Lindsey Loafers back to the Senate.....
NH and IA are too smart or something?
The Dem party has become the black run party. Run by blacks and their self hating white liberal stooges. I would be laughing more, if they were not so dangerous at subverting the election process.
Another racist dark skinned person.
It has been alleged that over 80 million voters voted for Biden.
The electorate includes a lot of stupid people.
so sez the king of the plantation owners
