I’m sure you’re right.
But in 2017 I asked a white female student assistant at my university “Since you are obviously an A student and got here on your talents and intelligence isn’t it an insult that you will be placed with unqualified candidates for professional jobs and promotions as if you aren’t really good enough but will be looked at as that way? Wouldn’t you prefer to win on merit?
