The post-17th Amendment (17A) ratification federal lawmaker dog and pony show aside, please consider the following.

The drafters of the Constitution made Article IV, Section 4 to obligate the untrusted federal government to STAND DOWN (my words) to domestic violence unless the sovereign state dealing with domestic violence decides that state police need federal help to suppress the violence.

"Article IV, Section 4 (4.4): The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence [emphases added]."

In fact, here is Justice Joseph Story's clarification that the drafters had made 4.4 to help prevent the untrusted federal government from dreaming up any excuse to stick its big nose (my wording) into the affairs of the sovereign states.

”§ 1819. It may not be amiss further to observe, (in the language of another commentator,) that every pretext for intermeddling with the domestic concerns of any state, under colour of protecting it against domestic violence, is taken away by that part of the provision, which renders an application from the legislature, or executive authority of the state endangered necessary to be made to the general government, before its interference can be at all proper [emphasis added]. On the other hand, this article becomes an immense acquisition of strength, and additional force to the aid of any state government, in case of an internal rebellion, or insurrection against its authority. The southern states, being more peculiarly open to danger from this quarter, ought (he adds) to be particularly tenacious of a constitution, from which they may derive such assistance in the most critical periods.” —Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution, Article 4, Section 4.

In fact, the dog and pony show legislative "remedy" for domestic violence by federal lawmakers ought to be regarded as a colour, as Story might have put it, a convenient excuse in other words, for activist federal Democrats and RINOs to interfere in the affairs of the sovereign states.

Also, note that while activist Democratic-controlled state government leaders blatantly ignore their sworn duty to provide their people with constitutionally guaranteed domestic tranquility evidenced by 4.4, activist federal Democrats and RINOs are simultaneously likewise not doing their sworn 4.4 duty to guarantee each state in the Union a republican form of government.

Next, hopeful Trump 47 needs to work with the next new MAGA Congress to establish an "Oath Court" based on Section 3 of the 14th Amendment (14A).

"14th Amendment, Section 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof [emphases added]. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

The Oath Court will have original jurisdiction, hearing only cases concerning allegations of the abuse of state and federal governments powers by elected and non-elected government actors, including abuse by activist judges, especially handling possible federal and state violations of the 12th Amendment (electoral vote process) and Section 2 of 14A-related voting fraud with its catch-all "or in any way abridged" wording.

Excerpted from 12A:
"The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice- President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate [emphasis added], ..."

In fact, Justice Reed had clarified that it is the job of judges to balance 10th Amendment-protected state powers with 14A personal protections (my wording).

"Conflicts in the exercise of rights arise and the conflicting forces seek adjustments in the courts, as do these parties, claiming on the one side the freedom of religion, speech and the press, guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment, and on the other the right to employ the sovereign power explicitly reserved to the State by the Tenth Amendment to ensure orderly living without which constitutional guarantees of civil liberties would be a mockery." —Justice Reed, Jones v. City of Opelika, 1942.

Finally, the inevitable remedy for ongoing, corrupt post-17A ratification political party treason (imo)...

All MAGA patriots need to wake up their RINO federal and state lawmakers by making the following clear to them.

If they don’t publicly support either a resolution, or a Constitutional Convention, to effectively "secede" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by amending the Constitution to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A), doing so before the primary elections in 2024, that YOU will primary them.

If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.

With 16&17A out of the way, my hope is that Trump 47 becomes the FIRST president of a truly constitutionally limited power federal government.

In the meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath for significant MAGA legislation to appear in the first 100 days of new term for what may still prove to be another RINO-controlled House.

Trump will hopefully do another round of primarying RINOs for 2024 elections.
