Doesn’t much matter for 2024. Nobody will run against president Biden. But in 2028 and beyond only candidates with big name recognition and money will win. The good thing for iowa and New Hampshire was small candidates could get their names out there. If this new schedule was in 2008, hillary would have been nominee instead of Obama.

I say Clyburn is the guy, but many Democrats “of color” have long resented the mainly white states of New Hampshire and Iowa having the leading primary positions.
Biden is the paleface of “white privilege” and there’s resentment over that too.
