I had a friend - worked with my husband but bought eggs from us - who was Polish when my kids were young...because they were adopted from Russia she would have nothing to do with them.
The Poles have beautiful pottery but otherwise they are not really worth spending time with, and their country has nothing worth visiting.
I have been to much of eastern Europe but skipped them.
