Trump Blasts Biden’s Move to Send Tanks to Ukraine, Calls for Peace Negotiations Before War ‘Spirals out of Control’

From my perspective, there are paid shills from BOTH sides, going at it against each other, every time this topic comes up, talking and trolling against or at each other, instead of talking to each other. No monopoly from either. It’s all putinpuffer, globohomo, neocon, Ruzzian, Zeeper, Putler, ad nauseum...

Now that’s what should get the abuse button.

Having been to Russia and known many Russians I would say its not too different, actually. Russians consider themselves a super power and want an empire. They most all have iphones and are all on instagram now, too. It’s not entirely clear how much suffering they are willing to endure to fulfill the imperial fantasies of tin pot Tsar. So in many ways they are similar to Americans.

Likely a lot more than we could take. We get a handful of casualties and the media has a meltdown.

From what I said on this thread:

Sending American tanks and planes in...with American pilots and American crews. Don't forget about that part.
The US and Europe have sent weapons, not sent combat units. Russia sent weapons to Vietnam, the US sent weapons to the Afghanistan Mujaheddin. Neither the US or Russia threatened nuclear war over it.
There were two parts to what Biden said, the weapons and the crews. Jones is talking leaving off what not sending soldiers means. The goal is to avoid a direct military confrontation with Russia, while still aiding Ukraine.
We are sending weapons, not soldiers, because soldiers are not necessary.

Before the Pro-Russian side piles on:

Trump says things to stir up the waters, and see how they are stirred up. Then he gauges the response and adjusts. There is a method to his madness, even when at times he is a little mad.
He really hates war, and spent four years getting out of and avoiding past and future conflicts. No one gives him enough credit for that.
If he was in office, Putin would not have invaded. We are all pretty sure of that.
If Putin invaded anyway, those convoys outside of Kyiv would be extra length "highways of death" and this war would be over by now.
